2. KIM BONG CARPENTRY VILLAGE

Kim Bong Carpentry Village is one of traditional craft villages and a tourist attraction in Hoi An. Its history begins around the 16th century. Different generations of carpenters from here constructed and restored lots of buildings in the city. Today, many visitors come to their workshops to watch and learn about their daily work. Compared to other craft villages, it’s less touristy.

3. WEAVE SLEEP MAT VILLAGE

Ban Thach mat-weaving village is one of the oldest traditional craft villages in Quang Nam. Visitors here can witness firsthand how artisans hand-weave colorful mats, rich in the cultural values ​​of Quang Nam province.

4. TRA NHIEU FISHING  VILLAGE

Tra Nhieu fishing village  is a peaceful eco-village nestled beside the Thu Bon River, only about 5km from Hoi An Ancient Town. It is famous for its simple lifestyle, picturesque river scenery, and authentic traditional cultural experiences.

5 . MAKING QUANG NOODLE

Tourists were surprised and delighted to witness the process of making the famous Quang noodles, from grinding the flour and mixing the batter to steaming the noodles, all done manually from rice grains. They were particularly impressed by the use of rice husks as fuel for the ovens, generating enough heat to warm the noodle ovens. The resulting ash from the rice husks is then used as organic fertilizer, creating a closed, sustainable cycle that greatly pleased the visitors.

6. COOKING RICE WINE

Pure rice wine, with its essence derived from rice and water, has long been an indispensable part of Vietnamese culinary culture.Pure rice wine is a beverage brewed from rice and yeast. These ingredients undergo a specific distillation process over a certain period of time. The resulting wine, made from pure rice grains, has a white color and a subtle aroma. When tasted, it causes a slight tingling sensation on the tongue and a spicy feeling in the throat, but without the headache often associated with other diluted wines. Currently, rice wine is quite popular in rural areas of Vietnam, and it is often present at ancestral worship ceremonies and other religious events.

7. DUCK STOP
